What is AGG’s current summer associate recruitment policy for 1L applicants?
1L law students will not be considered for AGG’s 2009 summer associate program. However, we encourage current 1L’s to apply during their second year for our 2010 summer program. Our 2009 fall recruiting schedule will be published in the spring.

Once I submit a resume, how long should I expect to wait to hear from AGG?
For lateral resumes, our usual response time is approximately 2-3 weeks. For summer associate candidates, our usual response time is 1-2 weeks. Please do not call to check on the status of a resume. We will contact you if we would like to schedule an interview.
What is AGG's partnership track?
Generally, AGG has an 8½ year partnership track. However, associates who fulfill the requirements for partnership at an accelerated rate may become a partner in a shorter time period.
What is the current entry level associate salary? What is AGG's bonus structure?
The base salary for incoming associates is currently $130,000. Those completing judicial clerkships receive a clerkship bonus, plus one year's credit toward partnership. Hours-based bonuses are awarded to those meeting certain billable hour thresholds above the 1900 billable hour expectation. In addition, discretionary bonuses may be awarded in recognition of exceptional work performance, client service, business development or pro bono activities.
What is AGG's maternity leave policy for attorneys?
Attorneys are permitted to take up to three months as paid leave and up to three additional months as unpaid leave.
Does AGG allow attorneys to work modified hours?
Employment arrangements that allow a reduced time commitment are considered on an individual basis. The firm currently has 4 partners, 2 Of Counsel and 5 associates who work modified hours.
